Hi, I’m Kate! I like to think of myself as a fun-loving, bubbly, and passionate Celebrant.
I am extremely organised but flexible when it comes to planning your special day. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but I am here to help you every step of the way.
I grew up in Orange and after graduating Year 12, I decided to spread my wings to the big city and moved to Sydney. I studied events management and have worked in the events industry for over 13 years. I moved back to Orange in 2012 so I could be closer to family and friends and enjoy the country lifestyle.
I had always considered becoming a Celebrant. Marriage is an important relationship for families and society.
I love being creative and having a challenging role, so I can offer you a great variety of experiences. Encouraging and acknowledging marriage equality was the big motivator for me to become a Celebrant.

My style: Relaxed, fun, and personal. (I say relaxed, as it is your day and I will always support your wishes and vision, but I am a Type A planner, so I love details!!)
My superpowers: Empathy, weird sense of humour and I am super organised.
How other people describe me: Honest, caring, hard-working and a tiny bit crazy. I am fiercely loyal and passionate about nurturing relationships. I also want to make sure you have the best day possible!
My pet peeves: People who do not indicate when turning or give the courtesy thank-you wave. I am also a big believer in having good-quality wine glasses!! They really do make a difference.
Secret love: I am a massive fan of leopard print and anything sparkly. I am a self-confessed earring fanatic (I am too scared to even count how many I have). The way to my heart is with a good Rosé or oaked Chardonnay.
My hobbies: I wish I could say I have a long, impressive list of hobbies, but to be honest… I am a dedicated doom scroller, Romantasy reader and wine lover. I enjoy spending time with people I love, cook occasionally and garden when the weeds take over.
Favourite food: Cheese and Wine (they are part of the food groups, right?).
Who has my heart? My amazing husband James & my beautiful fur babies.
